Well, it lasted longer this semester, but the Japanese conversation table has turned into "I'm the only person not at third year level or above that shows up" so the topics and grammar are always way beyond me and I can't participate. I suppose I could go to the first year table, but there are never native speakers there other than the teachers.

Also, why is it that it wasn't until after I moved out of the dorms that the conversation tables started regularly going to the Selleck cafeteria to eat together after? Bah.
